There are environmentally friendly materials for printing.

Our planet needs help. Time is ticking and from an environmental point of view, every action counts.
The use of environmentally friendly materials and the application of sustainable production processes must now be part of our DNA.
We must be responsible and reduce environmental pollution, if we limit the discharge of harmful waste, we will ultimately improve the state of the planet.
Let’s use ecological elements, that is to say, that relate environmentally with nature in a sustainable way. These actions of ecological sensitivity allow companies and individuals to project a positive and ecological image that more and more people are appreciating.

Some materials and their applications.

The use of sustainable resources in printing processes allows us to take care of the environment, and this action becomes a differentiator within corporate social responsibility.
Let’s see which are the main ecological printing materials we use.

Recycled and recyclable material.

Recycled is the ecological support that has already been used and has been reinvented for reuse. Recyclable, on the other hand, is potentially reusable as long as it is deposited in the corresponding container and the appropriate procedures are applied afterwards.

Biodegradable and compostable material.

These materials are completely PVC-free and, therefore, do not require human intervention to reintegrate with nature in the same way as leaves or pieces of wood. They even serve as fertilizer after a few weeks!
Bamboo, cardboard, wood and others. They are used to make displays or packs that, until now, were made from plastics. Their ecological footprint is significantly smaller.

Latex inks.

They consist of a water-based solution with wetting agents that include different pigments and polymers (resins). When latex inks dry, the water is diluted in nature without releasing toxic residues or odors.

Sustainable printers.

The choice of printing equipment compatible with the above inks, and designed with an ecological approach, contributes mightily to environmental health. Among its main benefits are the absence of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and its contribution to excellent air quality with maximum safety.
